Rigo® Roses

 In recent years the main point of focus, at the famous German rose-breeder W. Kordes’ Söhne, is aimed on breeding robust, healthy varieties with abundant flowering. Rigorously only varieties that have proved to be disease-resistant and blessed with extreme health have been selected and brought together under the name “Rigo-Roses”. The fact that all “Rigo-Roses” successfully passed the hardest test for roses in the world, the ADR-examination, proofs that Kordes succeeded in his aim. Rigo-Roses are and will be the new standard for healthy, robust and abundant flowering roses. We are delighted being able to offer you these fine new “Super Roses”. There are two groups of Rigo-Roses: Rigo®Floribunda Roses and Rigo®Roses for Ground Cover.

 

Amica

The small, double flowers bloom in large clusters and spread a soft fragrance. Spreading and bushy growth. Very disease resistant and rain-proof. Lovely, healthy, abundant- and continously flowering ground cover rose. Suitable for multiple purposes and tolerates semi-shade conditions.

Aprikola

Medium-sized, double flowers, mostly borne in trusses, of strong apricot-yellow colouring turning to bright apricot and pink, with a fruity fragrance. The foliage is dark green, very glossy and extreme healthy. Good branching, spreading, bushy growth. Very healthy Floribunda in an attractive colour, wonderful for bedding.

Bonapart

Clusters of medium-sized, double flowers of bright salmon-pink colouring. Low, compact, bushy and spreading growth. Very healthy. Abundantly flowering from June tot October. Perfect for bedding.

Black Forest Rose

Attractive, medium-sized, double, cupped-shaped, clear red flowers in small trusses. Spreading, bushy growth, very healthy foliage. Very free-flowering and beautiful bedding rose, that also makes a good ground cover.

Caracho

Medium-sized, semi-double, red with cream-white flowers in lush clusters with a soft fragrance. Spreading, bushy growth, very healthy shrub. Heat resistant. Wonderful, healthy, insect-friendly ground cover that blooms richly in flushes throughout the season. Ideal for covering large spaces.

Diamant

Clusters of medium-sized, semi-double, pure white flowers with bright yellow stamens. Robust, very glossy, dark green, luxuriant foliage. Compact, bushy shrub with low, flat branches and extreme healthy foliage. Continuously flowering. Rapidly covering open spaces.

Fortuna

Medium-sized, single flowers in a striking, light salmon-pink colour with white centre and yellow stamens. Very weather-resistant. Extremely healthy foliage. Ideal for planting in beds, borders and large, open spaces. Abundantly flowering in flushes throughout the season.

Toscana

Trusses of small, fully double, raspberry-red flowers, unaffected by rain and holding their colour well. Very glossy, very healthy, dark green foliage, contrasting beautifully with the raspberry red flowers. Robust and healthy shrub with spreading, bushy growth. Very easy to grow, free- and continuously flowering.

Innocencia

The medium-sized, semi-double flowers are pure white, lightly scented and bloom in clusters. Bushy yet compact growth, hardy. Ideal, robust, continuously flowering bed rose, also suitable as a ground cover.

Neon

Medium-sized, semi-double, carmine pink flowers. Spreading, bushy growth with overhanging branches. Very healthy floribunda, can also be used as a ground cover.

Pink Forest Rose

Attractive, medium-sized, double, cupped-shaped, pink flowers in small trusses. Spreading, bushy growth, very healthy foliage. Very free-flowering and beautiful bedding rose, that also makes a good ground cover.

Large clusters of medium-sized, semi-double flowers of bright carmine-red, with a slight scent. Dark green, medium-sized, very glossy foliage. Compact, low and bushy growth. Extreme healthy, abundantly flowering and ideal for bedding.

The large, richly-filled, round, lemon-coloured flowers combine beautifully with the dark green, glossy, extremely healthy foliage. Light scent. Flexible, robust growth. Richly and perpetually-flowering bed rose, also suitable as creeper.
