Other Modern Shrub Roses

 Modern Shrub Roses are essentially larger, repeat-flowering Hybrid Teas and Floribunda roses. Their growth however is usually more spreading, wider, with slightly overhanging branches, reaching a height up to 200 cm. Because of their descent, there are Modern Shrub Roses that look like Hybrid Teas and varieties that flower like Floribundas. However, they all flower continuously. Modern Shrub Roses are used in beds, in groups of three, as solitary bush or as impenetrable hedge. Planting distance is depending on use and variety and varies in general between 60 and 100 cm. Most varieties are best planted in groups of three (planting-distance ± 45 cm). They will form one bushy, dense shrub that will flower more regularly and abundantly, creating a greater effect in the border.
